Teacher: Patrice Kelly November 6, 2019, 12:30 to 3:00 Wet felting wool is a centuries old craft used to make everything from tents to clothing. The process combines layers of wool roving into one flat piece of felt fabric. After learning a brief history of different types of felting and roving, participants create an original felted bird species. Felting birds is a tactile and engaging experience. Teachers will gain insight and inspiration to share with students of all ages and abilities. The process will promote creativity, imagination, and excite teachers to explore this unique art form.
